This book identifies several of the traits of the most effective leaders across the different hierarchies of an organization and provides an insight to how they differentiate themselves from the pack. While not a checklist for how to get promoted, it is a tool that one can evaluate oneself against to see how well they relate. If you are in a management position, the book does highlight areas that will have an impact on whether your team will go beyond the respect for the title or position you have, to more of a respect and trust of you as an individual. A quick read, somewhat entertaining, but with real life examples, the book is meant to be a somewhat reference guide to be referred to when needed.
