Frock in Hell

Hi. Have you ever fantasised about disappearing for a while? Wondered how long it would take before they ran out of clean underpants and noticed you’d gone? Being a bit of a cowardy custard, I’d never actually do it, but I did write a darn funny book about it.

Why not give it a whirl? If I put a smile on your face, my work here is done.

“This book is a hoot, a strong woman going her own way and meeting a whole new surrogate family in the process. I couldn’t put this book down. Funny, sad, every emotion you can think of are between the pages of this book. A jolly good read.”

“Just read it. You will love the characters. You will recognise something of yourself or of those around you. It is a more pragmatic Shirley Valentine.”

“Loved this. Great escapism. Think there isn't a woman (or man?) who hasn't felt like getting off the merry go round of their normal day to day life at least once!”

“Absolutely brilliant! A definite must read. Such a wonderful mix of quirky, charming, down to earth characters, you will love them all.”

“Would recommend this book to anyone who is feeling a bit jaded, down or just needing a good laugh.”

Have you ever been on a train and wondered what would happen if you didn’t get off - just carried on to the end of the line?

In the throes of a spectacular mid-life crisis and feeling rather unappreciated at home, Katie Frock takes an unplanned journey to London, leaving her supposedly grown-up family behind to figure out how to work the washing machine. Far away in Fancy London, Katie makes new friends, becomes the Banksy of the culinary world and accidentally gets mixed up in some very shady business. But when her new life comes crashing down, she realises that what she really needs is family.
