जून 2012 मध्ये चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातल्या पाचगाव या लहान गावाला सामूहिक वनाधिकार मिळाले. तसा हक्क मिळालेले चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यातले ते पहिले गाव. नुसता वनाधिकार मिळाल्याने लगेच विकास सुरू होत नाही. वनाधिकाराची अंमलबजावणी करण्यात पाचगावला खूपच अडचणी आल्या. मात्र त्यांना तोंड देत हे गाव निश्चयाने, भारतीय राज्यघटनेला अभिप्रेत असलेल्या स्वशासनाची अंमलबजावणी करण्यासाठी धडपडत होते. विजय देठे , त्यांची संस्था व अन्य सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते त्यासाठी गावाच्या मदतीला आले. मग डॉ. आंबेडकरांना अभिप्रेत असलेली अभ्यास पद्धती आणि म. गांधींना अभिप्रेत असलेली कार्यपद्धती यांचा समन्वय साधून पाचगावने स्वतःचा कायापालट करून घेतला. त्या संपूर्ण प्रक्रियेचा अभ्यास- संशोधन करून मिलिंद बोकील यांनी लिहिलेले हे पुस्तक.

Sadhana Publication, Pune, First Edition - 1 Jan 2018 In June 2012, Pachgaon, a small village from Chandrapur district, received collective forest rights. It is the first village in Chandrapur district to get such rights. However, development does not start immediately after the sanctions. Despite facing complexities in enforcing forest rights, the village stood together to implement the self-governance that the Indian Constitution intended. Social activists like Vijay Dethe, his institution and other NGO's came to the aid of the village, to help them transform Pachgaon itself. With the help of research methodology as expected by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and work methodology as expected by Mahatma Gandhi Pachgaon brought drastic change. Milind Bokil evaluated the entire process in this book.
