Kaumudi Sane : Spreading happiness in society Kaumudi grew up in cosy atmosphere of Gokhale Wadi (GoWa) in Dadar. The culture of sharing and caring was an integral part of her life there. Her father and uncle introduced her to the best of Literature, Art , Music and Theatre in her formative years. Love and subsequent marriage to Dr Charudatta Sane led to her shifting to Shendurni. As a young couple , they enjoyed their life to the fullest and were dedicated to each other and their work. Sudden and untimely passing of Dr Charu was the darkest phase of life. Along with two small kids , she also had the responsibility of a small school that they had started together. Kaumudi’s quiet strength in the face of extreme adversity and her sense of deep gratitude for the joyous times with Dr Charu were her forte in these tough years.© Ramdas Mahajan The CBSC School now boasts 2200 students on its roll call. Both the kids are well educated and have found professions that they are passionate about.
