But for systematics the decisive focus is on the normative significance of Christian faith for today, having taken account of insights from various disciplines, from biblical and historical theology in particular, and from the systematic theologies that one finds helpful.

Sometimes in the background but often in the foreground is biblical analysis and interpretation.
