She nodded as she continued to apply the lipstick on his lips. “Of course I did. But I cannot allow it to distract me. I have to make sure you are going to look good for tomorrow.”

When she was done, she stood apart to look at him. Paul stood up from the floor and looked at his wife. “How do I look?”

“You look quite lovely, my handsome husband. I can just imagine how you would look tomorrow morning when you leave for the office.”

“I know how I would look: completely upgraded.”

She licked her lip and smiled. “Yeah, I can imagine.”

“Should I put on one of my new suits and shirts, with the wristwatch and shoes for you to see?”

“No, there is no need for that right now, Paul.”

“Then what should I do?”
