You’ve met the Porter family before, haven’t you? You’ve met Kitty Porter, her five grown children, along with their loved ones, and others involved in their journey through life. In this sequel to Counting On Kitty, you’ll catch up on what has happened since then in their lives. You’ll catch up with Daniel, who is in a much better place than before, but still has his anxious moments to work through; Nancy, whose rebellious nature has changed, she’s found that a calm life is a much happier life; Phillip, still the dependable, tender-hearted family man who can always be counted on; Cynthia, whose actions prove that some people never change and so have to live with the results of their choices; and Douglas, the baby of the family, whose dreams have all come true. Every person has their own path to walk; some of those paths run adjacent to one another and intersect frequently, especially among family members who help each other move along and need that comfortable closeness. It’s not uncommon for another’s path to run in a completely opposite direction. Some go their own way without help and find they like going it alone. Situations can arise that force the independent’s path to make a turn back towards the rest of the family, even for a short time.
