WOW!Another intricate fantasy world to lose ourselves in. JLA has no limit to her imagination. That was absolutely unputdownable from start to finish and so so hot. Also, what a great narration for that book. Perfectly captured all the emotions. So good.A prince who feeds on pleasure and a courtesan with extraordinary abilities and exceptional intuition is a setting for a fiery story. But as it's always the case with JLA there was so much more to the real truth of the initial setting that was slowly unwrapped like a well-packed present page after page. With each book JLA manages to create characters that intrigue and makes you fall in love with.I can't wait to see how this story would develop. It has so much potential that I'm curious which direction it would go into.JLA is an absolute queen of fantasy and this story was one of her best and steamiest.

From the reviews of this book, I read that it was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ spicy, but for me it was like 🌶️🌶️ spicy. It had like three scenes that were pretty nice but nothing much….the world building was confusing and I felt like the plot was only “climbing” to the climax of the story but it just ended at the 80% of the way all of a sudden.
