#1 I once had a goat named Ramrod, who was not to be messed with. He was part goat, part rhinoceros, and about the size of a small horse, with devil horns. He looked out on the world through spooky yellow eyes, and smelled like…well, I do not have the words to say.

#2 I was a poor fisherman, and I had caught my brother staring at my row of tangled, rusty, and forever abandoned rods and reels. I had caught my best fish when I was seven years old, and it made me a fisherman the rest of my life.

#3 I am a fisherman and I suck. I was born to anglers, and I have never caught a fish in my life. I have fished with my brothers many times, and it’s never been in a tournament.

#4 I have caught a lot of fish in my life, but I have also fished with my brother, who was trying to teach me how to fish. He had a point: if you can’t feel the difference between the sticks and rocks in the water, you will get hung up on them and never catch any fish.
