Ancient

For seventy years it had lain dormant.

As a blind fool I walked into her trap and was embraced by her fractured soul. I got too close to her wicked madness, her utter despair, her overwhelming sorrow. My family’s lost soul was baying for my blood and so began my path to remembering life’s journey.

As Walter reflects on the meaning of connection, he is drawn to July 14th: a day when something life-changing happened. A long-dormant presence awakened, unleashing a series of paranormal encounters tied to a buried family secret decades in the making.

The first book in Walter J.M. Brown's Remembering Life's Journey series, ANCIENT is a haunting, introspective journey through grief and suffering.
