Arizona Rising

In our first eBook Quest to the West (ISBN 9781456623357), my wife Patricia and I used photographic images and poetry to capture the stunning landscapes from the National Parks of the American Midwest.

This second eBook, Arizona Rising is a photographic exploration of our trips to the canyon lands of Arizona in the fall of 2013 and spring 2014.

You will see beautiful images of Saguaro National Park including a variety of very prickly cacti and birds of prey that frequent this desert area. The main views from the Sedona area are images of Cathedral Rock and sights aboard the northern Verdi Railroad. In the Painted Desert you can see the multicolored buttes and mesas of the badlands.

From a completely different viewpoint, the images will take you into the Antelope slot canyon near Page. On these pages you will see images of deep, flowing spiralling rock formations expressed in beautiful shades of red, orange, beige and black.

Monument Valley offers huge vistas of sandstone, mesas, buttes and spires that characterize this region of the Colorado plateau. Finally, I will take you into the the north rim of the Grand Canyon I was able to capture the ethereal beauty of Bright Angel Point.
