Be is a collection of poems that delve into the intimate feelings of a young woman who didn’t see light at the end of the tunnel yet felt the light in her heart growing up in a dysfunctional family and community. The poems are raw. They describe a myriad of internal and external struggles the author endured that helped to shape the woman she is today.
