Black Sheep

The search for a missing girl brings an FBI agent back to the North Carolina mountains—and her own traumatic past—in this suspenseful thriller.

It's the one mystery Supervisory Special Agent Caitlyn Tierney never solved: her father's unexplained suicide after arresting his best friend for murder. It's what drove her to become one of the FBI's best agents—and one of the most unorthodox. But now the man she holds responsible for her father's death is asking her to find his missing daughter.

Back in Evergreen, North Carolina, Caitlyn finds her hometown changed by new money flooding in with the building of a casino. It's also become a hunting ground for an unknown enemy who will do anything who will kill to keep old secrets buried forever.
