Ursula Brangwen is a young woman determined to claim her independence. Banned shortly after its publication on the grounds of obscenity, `The Rainbow‘ (1905) is a three-generational story of misunderstandings, desire and misplaced passion. The book was adapted by director Ken Russel in 1989, starring Sammi Davis as Ursula.
