Forced to obey his commander's orders, Dax follows the path his fellow Ancient Roman cavalry soldiers took only to be whisked through time. Thankfully he discovers his friends, alive and well with their newfound lovers, and he worries about what has become of Owen, his commander. When he's introduced to Jack, the chariot driver, he realizes this new time holds wonders he'd never dreamed of.

Jack didn't believe in the gods or fate, and yet when his friends received their Romans he wasn't surprised to discover Dax while out driving.
