The Bar Sinister

The Bar Sinister is Richard Harding Davis's much-loved 1902 tale told by a plucky bull terrier, a stray who rises from the streets to the show bench.

Narrated throughout by the dog himself, the story follows the good-hearted mongrel Kid as he finds a true master, proves his courage and discovers the truth of his own breeding. First published in 1902, it has charmed readers young and old ever since.

A warm, funny and moving animal classic, restored in a beautiful modern edition to be read aloud and treasured by dog lovers of every age.
