Violent Mind

Maxan, a young fox, serves his city as a spy, scout, and informant. His function is to observe and report on the enemies of his city; however, Maxan defies his orders to stop an enemy from committing an unspeakable evil. He is now tied to a weapon of immeasurable power, capable of driving every animal into a mad killing frenzy.

Desperate for answers, Maxan is drawn into an eternal war between the Monitors — an ancient and dwindling order that has pledged to safeguard the long dormant artifacts hidden deep below and far above their world — and The Mind, the cult that seeks to use such devices to control the world.
