Fort

Two boys. One awesome fort. A summer they'll never forget.

Eleven-year-old Wyatt and his friend Augie are having the best summer of their lives. They've built an incredible fort in the woods, where they spend their days fishing, hunting, cooking over a campfire, and sleeping under the stars. But when two older boys mess with their fort—and with another kid who can't fight back—Wyatt and Augie are forced to launch Operation Doom, with unexpected results for all concerned.

In this thrilling middle grade novel, award-winning author Cynthia DeFelice tells a story of friendship, revenge, and standing up for yourself, even in the face of daunting odds. Fort is a funny and heartfelt adventure that will resonate with any reader who's ever had to face down a bully. It's a summer Wyatt and Augie will never forget, and one that will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the final page.
