Marissa Mayer: A Tireless Innovator in Silicon Valley

Marissa Mayer was born in Wisconsin in 1975 and graduated from Stanford University with a degree in computer science. After a brief stint at Goldman Sachs, Mayer joined Google in 1999, becoming the company's 20th employee. During her career at Google, Mayer played a key role in developing iconic products such as Gmail and Google Maps. In 2012, she became the CEO of Yahoo!, taking on the mission of revitalizing the declining company. Despite the challenges, Mayer implemented several innovative changes and put Yahoo! back on the technology map.

In 2014, Barra became the first female CEO of GM, a historic milestone for the auto industry. Under her leadership, GM reinvented itself, investing heavily in electric and self-driving cars, and becoming one of the most innovative companies in the world.
