The Love Procession

In The Love Procession Suzanne Edgar again focuses on art, the natural world and the intimacy of love and loss. Her poems deliver emotional intelligence and humour with unobtrusive skill that blends form and content in beguiling ways.

George Thomas has praised the book’s ‘impressive clarity, concision, pungency and musicality’.

‘Edgar continues to astound with the daring discoveries and explorations of her poetry.’ – Les Murray

She is a versatile writer of successful short fiction, essays, literary criticism and much well-received poetry. Previously an editor with The Australian Dictionary of Biography, she contributed fifty-three articles to it.

Her previous publications include Canberra Tales, with Seven Writers; Counting Backwards; The Painted Lady; and Still Life.
