#1 Fasting is a powerful weapon in your spiritual warfare kit. It helps you overcome unbelief and build strong faith. It is the combination of prayer and fasting that brings about breakthrough and revival.

#2 You must be determined: No demon will control my life. I am a child of God, and who the Son sets free is free indeed. I don’t care how stubborn this thing is; I am going to break every finger and thumb of the enemy. I am going to break his wrists and grip. .

#3 Fasting is beneficial whether you fast partially or fully. A partial fast can include some food such as vegetables, and a complete fast consists of only water. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you when you need to fast.

#4 Fasting must be done with humility. It must not be religious or hypocritical. It must be a genuine exercise in self-control, not a means of pleasing others. The rewards of fasting far outweigh the obstacles of the enemy.
