Of the 11 books he wrote, 9 are centered on this topic. For over a century, pastors, Christians, and teachers have been using his words for guidance and inspiration for their own communication with God. They have all become sought-after classics to this day.

Who better to draw from on the subject than a man who brought revival to his region through prayer meetings? Known as a person who spent hours every day with God, he not only wrote about prayer, he practiced it.

Bringing these truths to modern readers meant having a careful understanding of the text and meaning without losing anything along the way. As a result, older phrases and words have been adapted while holding onto the treasure of Bounds' insight and wisdom.
