The Gone Side of the Fence

It's been four years since the events of The Timing of Maria unfolded. Much of the gang have moved to Michigan. Maria is now 14 and entering a new, private high school. Luke and Becca are engaged and very much in love. Their romance seems perfect and lasting, but will a violent criminal under protective custody, preparing to rat out his former trafficker buddies, bring trouble not only to Michigan but also to the perfect romance?
