Dark energy represents one of the most perplexing and enigmatic components of our universe, fundamentally altering our understanding of cosmic evolution. This mysterious force, which constitutes a major part of the cosmos, has intrigued scientists, astronomers, and physicists for decades. Its discovery, in part by observing the accelerated expansion of the universe, challenged long-held beliefs that gravity would eventually decelerate the cosmic expansion after the Big Bang.
