A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old man who is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. These spirits show him the error of his ways and inspire him to embrace the spirit of Christmas and become a kinder, more generous person.

Charles Dickens was a prolific English writer and social critic of the Victorian era. He is known for his vivid characters, detailed descriptions, and his focus on social injustices. A Christmas Carol is just one of his many celebrated works.
