The overall message of this book is this: Victory is realistic and within our grasp no matter the violation. As a sexual abuse survivor, I know that true and lasting healing from sexual trauma involves a recognition of the importance of both the physical and spiritual dimensions of wholeness. What's unique about this book, and what I haven't personally encountered in any other book or through any other counseling in the 35 years I've been on this journey, is that the physical is tethered to the spiritual. Not only do we need to renew our minds and recover our hearts, but we must also retrain our bodies. About Corajean Blalack:

Corajean Blalack is a happily married stay-at-home mama of one son. From childhood, she has always known that she wanted to be an author like Elisabeth Elliot and Corrie ten Boom. Saying yes to the call of God is one of her first memories. Born into deep darkness, her home life consisted of sexual and emotional abuse as well as neglect, Corajean survived it all through the grace of God.
