Riding Reflections

This vintage book contains notes and reflections on horse riding, compiled from the author's vast experience with horses in the military and in various equestrian communities. Covering many topics ranging from equipment to jumping, this volume will appeal to modern equestrians, and would make for a fantastic addition to collections of allied literature. Contents include: “Schools' and the Forward Seat”, “Geometry of the Forward Seat”, “Contact V. Wings”, “Aids and Jumping”, “Saddles”, “Bridles and Martingales”, “Controversy”, “The Show Ring”, “The Chase”, “Steeplechasing”, and “Conclusion”. Many vintage books such as this are becoming increasingly scarce and expensive. We are republishing this volume now in an affordable, high-quality edition complete with a specially commissioned new introduction on horses.
