The Forest Robot

The first book in the Bitmax & Co. series aimed at first readers ages 6 to 10 that addresses themes about friendship, empathy, respect, solidarity and working together, diversity, resolving conflicts, and by extension, about the need to live in harmony with nature. From the bestselling author and illustrator team of Copons & Fortuny comes a new series filled with adventure, comedy, and fables. The first book in the series focuses on how Bitmax the robot arrives in the Blue Forest and comes to meet Mus and Wagner, a rat and a bear. They have no idea what lies ahead of them when they discover Bitmax has a strange profession—it’s a helper! But Bitmax is different from the others in the forest! Can this little robot win over the community of animals and creatures and become part of the Blue Forest? Follow along as Bitmax works to solve conflicts, deals with a grumpy little troublemaking alien and two little humans that visit the forest, and finally comes to the aid of the forest’s youngest resident. At Bitmax’s side, Mus and Wagner discover that helping is an ongoing adventure! Each title in the Bitmax & Co. series clearly focuses on a single conflict, placing young readers in the heart of the classic narrative structure that presents a conflict, develops it, and solves it.
