This early work by J. J. Bell was originally published in 1916 and we are now republishing it as part of our WWI Centenary Series. The novel tells the story of Bell's popular character, Wee Macgreegor , as he joins the military during the First World War. This Character was originally the subject of short stories in the Evening Times, but their success prompted them to be published in book form.
