Aranya Kand: in English rhyme

In Aranya Kand, the forest deep,

Rama, Sita, and Lakshman keep.

Away from Ayodhya's royal throne,

In Dandaka's woods, they made their home.

Surpanakha, with her vile desire,

Faced Lakshman's wrath, her plan did backfire.

Killing demons, protecting the sage,

In the forest’s heart, they wrote a new page.

Ravan, with his wicked plot,

Kidnapped Sita, a tragic knot.

Jatayu fought with courage grand,

Fell trying to save her from Ravan’s hand.

Rama and Lakshman, in despair,

Sought Sita with utmost care.

Met Hanuman, the devoted friend,

Setting the stage for battles to end.
