On Your Bones

The peaceful life of Massimo, brilliant musician, and his wife Paola, a successful cardiologist, is soon turned upside-down by bad news that will quickly upset their daily routine. The cycle of life and death, of light and darkness, of hope and sorrow are intertwined and deformed. The happiness of expecting twin girls turns into fear and courage, becomes a challenge: Paola’s pregnancy is a rare case, making fun of probability, statistics and medical knowledge. It’s up to him to fix everything, set up relationships, redefine boundaries, moderate words. But it’s a race against time, against the wounded pride of a man trying to get out of the maze he’s trapped in. Massimo, indeed, after a surprising and terrifying discovery, is no longer able to distinguish reality from illusion. Everything becomes ostensible, hiding the primordial deception. Who is going to pay for the choices made? And for how long?
