Summary of Mary Turner Thomson's The Bigamist

#1 I was a single mother in 2000. I had to re-form my own perception of the significance of the title. I was teaching my daughter to remain static even if unhappy, and I realized that if I did not show her the way, she would be unlikely to find it.

#2 I received a long, chatty email from a man named Will Allen. He was 6’1 and mixed race with curly hair and brown eyes. He was educated and interested in art, music, and literature. He wanted to meet up sometime for a coffee and a chat.

#3 I emailed Will, asking him if he was OK. He said he had to go on a business trip to Spain. I was worried and did not understand why he had vanished after sending me those emails. I was eventually able to forgive him and we began talking.

#4 I met Will Allen, an IT consultant, and we quickly became friends. I was nervous about looking at his photo, but it turned out that he was not stunning but good-looking with a warm smile.
