Definitely worth your time. As stated in the title, it dives deep into the life of Velma and her crimes. Even though an unbiased version of the crimes are presented, the book deals with the accused and her family and doesn't focus much on the victims or their families. The book gives us a perspective of how crimes and their punishments affect not only the victims but also the families of perpetrators . Discussion on death penalty from different point of views is also interesting.
