Not a bad choice for some passive listening. Most of the book was predictable. The writing is engaging but not all that impressive. The narration also is somewhat flat and I find this narrator’s voice slightly snobbish for the storyline the book is dealing with. I have heard this voice being used before for yet another thriller and I didn’t like her narration even then.

The Wife Between Us is an intense psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. The novel follows the lives of Vanessa and Nell, two women whose lives are intertwined in a web of lies, betrayal, and deceit. Vanessa is the ex-wife of Richard, and Nell is his current wife. As the story progresses, the reader is taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions as secrets are revealed and relationships are tested.The novel is full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are complex and multi-dimensional, and the suspense is heightened with each page. The author does a great job of creating a sense of dread and tension as the story unfolds.Overall, The Wife Between Us is an entertaining and engrossing read. It is well-written and engaging, and the plot is full of surprises. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys psychological thrillers.

The book is intriguing but the ending was really underwhelming.
