Inspired by nature and the freedom of the outdoors, we marry our laid-back approach to running with a tenacious desire to push the limits of what’s possible. Tommy’s moving out of London toward Vietnam via family, vans, and a stormy hut-to-hut in the Spanish Pyrenees that turned five friends into a proper team. For the 50th Episode of That's Runnable, Tommy speaks to Monty Purcell. His story is one of hope and redemption from the darkest part of his life. It's a surprisingly relatable story of overcoming addiction, experiencing "rock bottom", of facing the truth, having hard conversations, and seeking help. Monty is raising £10K for CALM (the Campaign Against Living Miserably) by running 10km a day until he reaches this fundraising target. He's on a mission to encourage others like him to talk and to let you know that you're not alone.
