A Table in Berlin

1987. In divided Berlin, truth is a toy. For musician CHARLIE and his group of itinerant fellow Englishmen, the novelty of eking out a precarious hand-to-mouth existence across the bars of West Berlin is wearing thin. A chance encounter with a group of four women turns out to be anything but. Beth works at the consulate—or so everyone thinks—and needs Charlie’s help; her sister Isabelle has a secret job on the side; Alexandra wonders where her husband, and all her money, has gone. They all confide in Charlie, but it’s his fumbling and relentless pursuit of JOANNA that will change everything he thinks he knows about himself, and his past.
