They paint me in shadows, a villain untold,

A fire-lit monster with a heart so cold.

But what if the stories were twisted and wrong?

What if I’ve been the hero all along?

I never asked for the crown of the damned,

Just wanted to help, but they don’t understand.

Maybe I’m the one who dared to say no,

Fought for the lost when the heavens said go.

Maybe the fire’s not meant to destroy,

But light up the path for the broken and void.

I’m not the evil they claim me to be,

I’m just the one who set the chained souls free.

They banished my name, wrote sins in my skin,

Called me the tempter, the master of sin.

But what if the truth was buried so deep,

To hide all the secrets the angels should keep?

I never wanted a kingdom of pain,

Just tried to rewrite the rules of the game.

Maybe I’m the one who dared to say no,

Fought for the lost when the heavens said go.

Maybe the fire’s not meant to destroy,

But light up the path for the broken and void.

If love is a cage, then call me the key,

If truth is a crime, then let them judge me.

I’ll wear the horns if it means they can see,

The real enemy was never me.

So let them curse me, let them deny,

But history’s written by those in the sky.

One day the world will open its eyes,

And see that the Devil was never the lie.
