Who would have thought that keeping chickens would ever become a lifestyle objective rather than, as was the case a few years ago, a hobby generally indulged in at the bottom of the garden by a few middle-aged men? While the fact that it has can only be a good thing, without a basic understanding of what chickens need in terms of daily care, the newcomer to the hobby is as likely to experience failure as he is success.
