#1 I had a small, talented team, but I was a control freak who didn’t have anything resembling a blueprint for growth. #3 I spent the following year rebuilding my company. I made a list of all the parts of my business that worked well and separated out those that were broken, faulty, or missing altogether. I then dove into each individual aspect to figure out why some things worked while others didn’t.

#4 I developed two blueprints to grow a business and scale a business. I adhered to them step-by-step as I built nine more companies that have generated tens of millions of dollars.
