North East England, 2046. Daniel, a fearless scavenger, scours an old landfill for hidden treasures while his cousin Michelle hustles to make ends meet through coding and hacking.

But when a nuclear explosion rocks the world, chaos ensues and the SimCavalier, Cameron Silvera, springs into action. Daniel, thanks to Michelle's innovative hacking skills, lands a job at the local nuclear power station and together they work with the Argentum Associates team to uncover a sinister plot. Suspicious software is discovered at multiple nuclear sites and a dead body floating out to sea confirms their worst fears - a familiar cybercrime syndicate is behind it all.

Cameron is desperate to protect her family and joins forces with a group of undercover hackers to fight against a rogue militia and a global cybercriminal network. Linking the two is Michelle, working in the half-light of grey hat hacking. When Ross slips up and reveals his old, cast-off hacker identity from his criminal days, she makes the connection. Exposing him could bring the whole delicate operation crashing down.
