Sometimes, prayer only goes so far. Rising again requires Something Greater. Sage Maddox has been turned. Determined to penetrate Nero's inner circle on an assassination mission, he has fallen prey to the sadistic Emperor's brainwashing, and time is running out.

Meanwhile, Sage's father, Colonel Thomas Drexler, and Darius, the former High Vassal to Emperor Nero, prepare to unmask the totalitarian despot in a public display at the Gloriosa Revelatio. The Fifth Column man is in place, and all seems ready. However, the slightest hiccup in plans - or in fidelity - could spell certain doom for the Defiance, Prime Minister Angus McFayden and the UK, as well as all the various resistance cells scattered throughout the world in opposition to the wicked ruler.

The Emperor, convinced that he is the antichrist of Revelation, along with his deadly Guardians and imposing AirGuard ships, is ready to commence a final eradication of Christians worldwide.
