I get to meet a lot of people and I love hearing their bonsai stories and I was asked a really interesting question...when does bonsai become a cult?? I'm still laughing about it and I'll dig a little deeper to see if we can give an appropriate answer.

Wiring your bonsai to style them takes time and skill and I have a little tip that will help you do it once only. Don't wire light as you'll pay the price. I recently went along to a bonsai demonstration and there was talk about bonsai etiquette about the age of a tree. It's an interesting concept and I talk about the importance of perceived age versus the true age.
