“God’s Country” with brothers Dan and Reid Isbell is a rollicking weekly podcast that sits at the intersection of country music and the great outdoors. Each episode explores how today’s biggest and most talented country stars and songwriters pull inspiration from rugged,  first-hand relationships with the natural world. Nashville songwriters by profession who spent their childhoods getting muddy in the wilds of Tennessee, Dan and Reid draw on their own passion for hunting and fishing to lead a thought-provoking and fun exploration of the fundamental role of outdoor living in country music.

This week Reid and Dan host a BROPOD in God's Country. They cover their most recent hunt out west chasing Elk, recap where they are in the 2025 deer season, and answer some listener questions that were submitted. They chat through what they feel the right age is to purchase a fire arm for kids, along with addressing some of the nuances around songwriting in Nashville. Introducing: Blood Trails

This week Reid and Dan host a true texan and country music star, Randall King, out in God's Country. Randall starts the show by exposing a fun hobby about himself most people don't know and the guys have a field day with it. The three of them cover dove hunting tactics and the unorthodox way Randall's family goes about Jug fishing at his family reunions. King struggles to give his Texas Country Music Mount Rushmore and they all dive in on how Pure Country is one of the greatest movies of all time. The episode ends with a gravorite that only could be pulled off by Randall King himself.
