‘Jealous’ Judge Shot Ex in the Head While He Slept

When Michael McCoy broke up with his girlfriend, Pennsylvania district court judge Sonya McKnight, and told her she had to move out of his home, he says she refused. After a week of resistance, prosecutors say McKnight came up to McCoy while he was sleeping and shot him in the head. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber speaks with with Texas judge Brandon Birmingham about how McCoy’s own testimony helped convict his ex.
