Liberals And Conservatives Don't Have Principles

1) Thomas Sowell once said "There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs." This doesn't just apply to the economy, but to pretty much every choice we make in our personal lives and in government. We are seeing those trade offs take hold now. As liberal cities begin to realize that becoming a "sanctuary city" might boost their own ego by "helping". But what do you do when the people actually start coming? And with conservatives demanding protection for Israel after rallying against aid to Ukraine and propaganda machines calling for said aid... How do you justify the hypocrisy?

2) Is RFK Jr's run for President proof that republicans and maybe even democrats will vote cross ticket if either party could simply produce a principled candidate?
