In this special Unbelievable? debate, recorded live at Waddesdon High School, Andy Kind moderates a lively exchange between philosopher Dr Shaun Stevenson and Oxford doctoral candidate Nathan Elvidge on one of life’s biggest questions: Does God exist?
From the origins of religious belief to the grounding of morality, the two thinkers spar over whether right and wrong can be explained without God, the problem of evil, and whether concepts like “absolute morality” require a divine lawgiver. Does God Exist? Shaun Stevenson vs Nathan Elvidge hosted by Andy Kind

Two world-class cosmologists talk it out in a classic Unbelievable? podcast debate: What best explains the universe—God or naturalism? Christian astrophysicist Luke Barnes (Sydney Institute for Astronomy; co-author A Fortunate Universe) and atheist physicist Sean Carroll (Caltech; author The Big Picture) explore whether Big Bang cosmology hints at a beginning with purpose, or a brute fact within a naturalistic story. Classic: From Faith to Scepticism, From Pop Star to Priest: The Search For Meaning Richard Coles and Derren Brown

Doug Axe is a molecular biologist who says that his work on molecular systems convinced him that life is designed, rather than a result of unguided evolution. He lays out the evidence in the book ‘Undeniable: How biology confirms our intuition that life is designed’ and why his intelligent design conclusions got him into trouble as a researcher in Cambridge.

Keith Fox is Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Southampton, and believes that evolution and Christian faith are complementary. Both Fox and Axe are Christians but with very different views on whether biology confirms or contradicts Darwinian evolution.
