Amelia Crane covers the dead. As the obituary writer for Salem's oldest newspaper, it's her job to memorialize recently-deceased members of the town's old magick families. She writes so that they may be remembered. And it seems Amelia has gained a fan in Abernathy Waid, a dead man who has left her something very special in his will. Something that will haunt Amelia and pit her against Salem's nastiest locals.
