On The Continent: What to expect of Pochettino at PSG, Juventus defeat Milan, and the Athletic Bilbao puzzle

We’re back with your weekly European football fix! Dotun and Andy are joined by David Cartlidge to discuss some huge midweek fixtures.

And where else to start but in Paris? We assess Mauricio Pochettino’s first game in charge and look at what can be realistically expected of him there, as well as what Pochettino could learn from Tuchel’s reign. We also go to Italy, where Juventus finally halted Milan’s incredible run. Andy and David run the rule over both sides’ title credentials, and take a closer look at Pirlo’s nascent regime.

David also takes us through the instability at Athletic Bilbao and the very unique challenges faced by their new manager, Marcelino. Finally, we also revisit his first rodeo: a magnificent game against Barcelona on Wednesday night.
