I am learning Malay : 300 essential words and phrases, 140 common expressions, the 100 most common verbs, the 1000 essential Malay words. Malay (Bahasa Melayu) is a major language of the Austronesian family spoken in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. A language of the Malays, it is spoken by 290 million people.
