I'm positive my brother's best friend can't stand me — until he kisses me.

Noah has always been my older brother's best friend, and I used to think he was my friend too. But that was before he went away to college and an injury ruined his chances of going pro. I'm kinda hoping that's the reason he's been acting so weird around me. It can't be fun watching me go on to thrive on my softball team when his dreams were just shattered. So maybe he just needs time.

But it's clear the moment I step foot onto his campus for my softball clinic that he doesn't want me here. And when I show up at one of his friend's parties, he gets all overprotective and makes me leave. But when he's driving me back to campus, he swerves to avoid an animal, and we crash.
